Suicidal tendencies and suicidal symptoms are two very different things. Depression is a disease which most of us know who have had it and/or live with it.. We look (even when depressed) for ways to treat the depression, not end it permanently. I've always had weapons in the home and never once did I ever think to use one, always went for a knife instead. Really there are many weapons of death in ones home other than guns, like knives, gl, water, poisons etc. you get my drift, and for many having a gun in the home is like having any other piece of furniture or utensil or cleaning supplies. Picking up the phone & asking for help takes far more less energy than planning to shoot oneself, and most people do just that...... I am wondering how many people think in these terms that have other diseases/illnesses. Maybe they also do, periodically. A diabetic wouldn't think to kill themselves anymore than we should.

I'm sorry for the way you were treated in school, kids can be so mean. It sounds like you are suffering from depression. You should go to a doctor and talk open and honestly with them, tell them how you are feeling. You might need to be put on antidepressants which can make you feel better. It should also help you to not want to be getting high on medication. I suffer from depression, bipolar and social anxiety. I'm on meds for all of these and although I don't go out much I am at least able to when I do have too. Anxiety can make it hard to socialize and make it hard to make decisions. Hi, I'm making a sculpture of a alligator holding a beer bottle. I'm making the piece for a bar. The bottle part is easy, but putting beer in it is hard. Has anyone ever been to Ellis Park? What's it like?

Funny you should ask. I have relatives who live in Evansville, IN and we just got back from visiting them. I've been there (Evansville) many times but visited Ellis Park for the first time this year. I live in New Jersey and my home track is Monmouth Park. MP is a beautiful seaside track with lots of good quality horses and races. So what about Ellis Park? I kept calling it a nice little track. It's clean with a midwest clientel. The horses looked to be good quality with a few upper tier trainers listed for some of the races. Churchill Downs had just ended their season and there were quite a few shippers from there. It was speed favoring while I was there where all the winners came from the top 3 at the half mile mark. It has a viewer friendly walking ring, limited betting windows, open air bar area near the walking ring and a picnic grounds area. Grandstand seats were comfortable with a small "table" type area in front of the seats for drinks, programs, food to sit on. I came out with more than I went with although the pools were small compared to what I'm used to seeing at MP or Belmont/Aquaduct. I liken it to Philadelphia Park here in the East with a midwest farm setting. Even though it's in Kentucky, it's on the Indiana side of the Ohio River. Hope that helps. If you go enjoy.

What could be causing sores on my cats backsides beside their tails/?

This is the third cat we have had to get a raw draining soar along side of the tail that will not heal. It drains all the time and at first looks like a bite from another animal because it is a large hole. But the hole just keeps getting bigger and starts to drain and the hair falls out and the cats just gets sicker sicker. Has anyone got any idea. The vet just gave antibotics and had no comment. The first cat died and the second one got so sick we had to have her put to sleep now the third cat has it and I dont want to lose her too. The three cats have had this occur in the last 14 months. So a little background: I work near a man made brine lake that is a by product of the borax and mineral mining that goes on here. I rescue birds from the water and rehabilitate them. I drive around a lot because the lakes are very large. I got out of my truck today and the antenna from the radio was vibrating and making a buzzing sound. The truck was off, the radio was off and the lights were off. Nothing was on. Could there be a magnetic field causing this? Welding question need help?

I need to know the best or simplest way to weld 1/8" round steel rods together. I have all the angles cut but have never welded before. These are not supporting any weight but need them to be fairly strong. Right now I gave only a propane torch. I am trying to make a picture frame, rectangle with curved rods in the center of the frame. Is there some way to do it without a mig, tig or other machines? I have tried JB weld and low temp silver brazing rods but it seems to be just coating it. If I need to buy a fairly cheap machine or if there is another method please let me know, thanks a lot!!!

well you can clean out some memory. by going to your computer/ my computer under your start menu. a window will pop up of course. then u may have to wait a few seconds before it appears. but at the very top it will show you OS(C:) you can click on that and erase files and folders. or you can click on the RECOVERY(D:) and do the same. just make sure you don't delete anything you don't know was it is for. this will help free up some memory. or you could just simply try to restore your computer back to a later date. by the way when you delete emails to your trash bin erase your trash it stores as memory on your computer if you don't. hope i helped.

Coppersafe is, as it's name implies, a copper compound which not only is used for treatment of parasites such as common Ich, but also kills invertebrates. Since your tank has only vertebrates in it (the fish), you will not harm them. The snails however will be eliminated. I would take out the live plants for now and replace them after treatment. The snails probably were introduced into your tank with the purchase of live plants. When you purchase more, rinse them very well before planting them in your tank as you might inadvertently bring in some unwanted snails or eggs. Good luck!

The freezer is staying cold but not freezing. At the coldest temperature it seems that it is staying cold enough to keep meat and such from going bad, but in no means freezes the stuff inside. The meat is always malleable and any sort of ice cream you put in always ends up liquid. When we put things in there completely frozen it ends up thawing out, not going bad, but not frozen like you would like your freezer to be. Any idea what could be the problem here?

The processor speed isn't everything, you have 4GB OF RAM! that is a GREAT amount of RAM! and as far as watching DVD's, you should NEVER have any problems with that, and music is even easier to run and manage than Video! Browsing the internet and doing stuff like that will be nice and smooth! The ONLY thing that you have to worry about is playing "higher-end" games on that PC, it isn't really cut-out for that, but you can play some pretty good games with that machine! If the Computer is NEW then it SHOULD shutdown if it takes too much stress and overheats, but I wouldn't worry about that. Have fun and don;t worry about performance! =)

Hello, so I am a 16 year old girl who's a senior in high school. Since I was a kid, I was a VERY nice person like I would do anything for my friends and the people in my cl. It was just this year that I developed myself a bit and I would say no sometimes or not do whatever they want. Let me give you a few examples on what I'd do: I would print 30 papers for 6 of my friends because they all don't have printers and I would do it for them, and if I ran out of ink or something I would beg my father to take me to the nearest stationery so I can print it for them, I'd always give them rides if we go out on a weekend even if they lived a million miles away. I'd always give them my homework to copy and sometimes I'd write their homework for them because they were busy doing something else. I always give them some of my food or water even if I wanted it and it became something so ordinary that they would open my bag and drink and eat without even asking me. I never argue with them, and I always listen to EVERYTHING they talk to me about no matter how boring or stupid it is. They make fun of me sometimes and they annoy me and I don't say anything, I just sit there and smile with them, even though I know they're joking but sometimes it hurts me. We all annoy each other a lot, it's part of our friendship but they annoy me and tease me a bit more. They'd only call me if they wanted to study something or do schoolwork but that does NOT apply to all of them. We're all 11 girls and out of 10 probably 5 or 6 do that, the rest I'm really good friends with and we're actually best friends. I think my husband hates me & the kids!?

My husband and I have been married for 14 years and have 4 children. We have a very hectic and busy life. He works weekend night shift and I work weekdays. We do not have a babysitter because we are available to watch our own kids. He often complains about my job because it "doesn't pay enough" but I love my job, it's local near home and the childrens' school, the people I work with are wonderful, and my boss is extremely understanding. Plus, where would I find a bigger and better paying job since everyone else in America seem to be losing theirs? I believe that he is very angry with me because I had a wonderful plan to become a registered nurse, but in my second year of school I failed the program but one mere point!! Ugh! Ok, so Im 20 years old, and Im not certified or anything, but I've been taking care of my grandmother for a few months now. I get my own small room and I share the bathroom and she has a computer that we both use with internet and she also had satellite tv before i got here, but she uses the tv a lot more than i do. I do about 80% of the cooking and/or meal prep, I do all the cleaning, and I even decluttered her house without her asking me to. I never ask her for anything other than my simple necessities. I also do about 98% of the driving because she falls asleep often and can't drive that long at all. I also take care of her two dogs and my own dog. I help her go grocery shopping and make sure she doesnt buy too many sweets, and she smokes, even though it is an even higher risk for her to smoke more than others. and she buys about $65 worth of cigarettes every month. I NEVER go out. And I just got hired at a job but it wont start for at least 3 weeks. So I have NO money of my own. I do a LOT of driving. We drive 45 minutes at least 3 times a week to go to her husband in the nursing home or to go to walmart, or a doctor appt. Which I am always happy to do. And we eat out at HER request at least 25% of the time. And I NEVER ask for anything I absolutely dont need. So even with all I do, including the last 2 weeks her sister has been visiting and i've also been taking care of her when she needed it. However, when I ask for simple needs like eye drops for my contacts, and underwear, she acts like I dont deserve it or I havent earned it. When I found out I needed medication, she acted like it wasn't neccesity, like it would be cheaper if I just suffered. And she is not completely helpless. If she had to, she could make dinner for herself and she can drive short distances, but we live wayyyyyyyyyyy out of town on a lake, so town is about a 15 minute drive. Which is almost too far for her so she can drive herself to church and the hairdresser. Thats it. And she is not at all mentally deteriorating. Shes smart and still does her crosswords, and can walk, but she is kind of large and has other multiple medical problems and she needs help with her mobility and cant do any heavy lifting or be on her feet for very long. She is NOT broke or poor in anyway. She can afford to get her nails and hair done at least once every 2 weeks and is getting the house redone. So with all this, I ask for simple things like cheap eye drops to keep my contacts from drying, and the cheapest walmart underwear I can find, and the cheapest body wash because HER body wash makes me break out really bad. And the other day I found a list of things she had bought me with its price, and added up on the back. This made me very upset, I'm nice to her and I do EVERYthing she asks me to. And it makes me really upset that she never even thanks me when I declutter and clean her very cluttered house. And as much as I want it, I never ask for ANYthing I want to eat unless she asks me if I want something. So I'm wondering, even though I get free furnished room and board, how much would a regular full-time caregiver get in my position? I do drive her cars and I'm on her car insurance, however, I NEVER go anywhere for my own need or pleasure. I dont have any friends at all here, I dont go to college and I have not been driving to any kind of job and the only time I drive by myself is for the rare job interview or to get a prescription filled. And it was her suggestion to put me on her car insurance as well. So if I weren't a relative and I was taking care of her with free room and board, but I did all of the above, with no other job, how much should I be paid? Because Im EXTREMELY pissed off that after all I've done, she complains when I need something for my health or if I need friggin UNDERWEAR. She does NOT give me any extra money at all and I never asked her for any before, but I need money for my own needs and she's being extremely hesitant and I'm completely helpless until I start that new job at the end of the month, and even then I obviously wouldnt be paid for another 2-3 weeks. So if she doesnt start buying me what I need, I'm gonna start giving her a bill with how much I should be getting paid. Everyday guns, and drugs are being confied, and it seems there is no end in sight. I am not going to wait for the violence to hit home before I act in the only legal way that I can. He comes home everyday, and tells me of the kayos that he is surrounded by, and how much despair he feels. How is he supposed to focus on academics when he is completely distracted by all of the undesirables that are holding our schools, and our youths hostage!! I am in shock, and disbelief at the school and government officials who have there heads in the sand, and pretend that these things aren't happening!!! or that it isn't as bad,as it really is!!! But then again that's the American way isn't it? I mean if you ignore the problem long enough it will go away, or it doesn't exist, or it will simply fix itself. What a crock of B.S....I send him to school to be educated, but instead he is being force fed this crap daily. My family and I went on vacation to Tennessee, during which my mom's joints began to ache.When we got back she had a headache all over her head, a stiff neck, and her eyes hurt. This was nonstop for a week. The first diagnosis was Lyme Disease, and she was put on antibiotics. She did not have a bull's eye like bite mark at any point that is a trademark of Lyme's. Over the next week or so the joint pain left and she just had a constantly stiff neck and the headache. The next suspect was that she had been bitten by a mosquito in Tennessee that was carrying West Nile, and she had West Nile Virus. The doctors also thought that Rheumatoid Arthritis and Meningitis were possibilities. She got tested for West Nile, but it came back negative. She also evn had a spinal tap done, but it came back negative for Meningitis. Doctors are again saying they think it's viral meningitis, but the test was recent, and no one in the family has caught it. (it is contagious). Any ideas? We're very stressed.

What's wrong with my kitten? :(?

My cat, Switch, is about 3 months old now, and at 1 month old, he had an upper respiratory infection. He had a swollen eye, sneezing, loss of appetite for a couple days, and very bad congestion. He seemed weak only when his congestion was really bad, and wasn't eating. The vet gave us antibiotics and eye cream for the swelling, and he was back to normal within about a week and a half. We just got a new cat, Blade, who is 4 months old, and has been here for a little over a week. She is completely healthy, had her shots, and the cats have been playing together all week. The past few days, Switch has been abnormally very mellow, and at first I thought he had just pooped himself out from playing so much. But now I'm looking at him, and his eyes look kind of puffy (possibly from sleeping so much?), and he is not sneezing at all. He is congested, not as bad as before, but has now lost his appetite again. I took some soft cat food and forced it to his mouth, and he does eat a little bit, but nothing like he normally does! When he does walk, he walks slow, and just jumps on his bed and sleeps. He just seems so weak. He also is breathing very short, shallow breaths :(. He has not had his shots yet. I'm very worried about him! Please help!

I started with 14g and I didn't even feel it and it went right without any trouble. I suggest using tapers to go up to 2g one size at a time and then use the silicone tunnels to go bigger.
