Am I able to do these things with my new computer?

When you get a chance, smack your friend for me! That Computer is perfectly fit for doing everything listed! The processor speed isn't everything, you have 4GB OF RAM! that is a GREAT amount of RAM! and as far as watching DVD's, you should NEVER have any problems with that, and music is even easier to run and manage than Video! Browsing the internet and doing stuff like that will be nice and smooth! The ONLY thing that you have to worry about is playing "higher-end" games on that PC, it isn't really cut-out for that, but you can play some pretty good games with that machine! If the Computer is NEW then it SHOULD shutdown if it takes too much stress and overheats, but I wouldn't worry about that. Have fun and don;t worry about performance! =)
